PlayStation gamers and fans of Sucker Punch Productions are eagerly anticipating the launch of Ghost of Yotei. To celebrate the release, Sony has unveiled a premium Collector's Edition packed with unique physical memorabilia and exclusive digital rewards. This comprehensive package offers fans an immersive way to experience Atsu's journey across the lands surrounding Mount Yotei.
Detailed Physical Collectibles in the Package
The centerpiece of the Ghost of Yotei Collector's Edition is a display-ready replica of Atsu's Ghost Mask. Crafted with intricate detail, it serves as a striking centerpiece alongside its dedicated display stand. The box also features a replica katana tsuba and a 71-inch cotton sash inscribed with the names of the Yotei Six.
In addition to character artifacts, the package contains interactive traditional items that reflect the game's cultural setting. Players will find a pouch of coins complete with rules to play Zeni Hajiki, an in-game game of skill. A papercraft ginkgo tree model and four detailed art cards round out the physical offerings inside the wooden-textured box.
Digital Deluxe Content and Pre-Order Rewards
Alongside physical items, the Collector's Edition grants access to all digital bonuses included in the Digital Deluxe Edition. Players unlock the exclusive Snake Armor, a custom armor dye, a unique horse with a matching saddle, and an exclusive sword kit. Early access to Traveler's Maps and an in-game functional charm are also included.
Fans who secure their copy ahead of time receive extra pre-order incentives to customize their profile and gameplay. These bonuses consist of seven PSN avatars representing Atsu and members of the Yotei Six, as well as a special in-game mask. The complete digital package provides useful early upgrades for the single-player campaign.
Value and Considerations for Enthusiasts
Priced around $249.99, this edition targets dedicated collectors seeking high-quality display pieces. However, buyers should note that the Collector's Edition comes with a Digital Deluxe game code rather than a physical disc. Despite the lack of physical media, the wealth of physical props and digital content makes it a compelling purchase for franchise enthusiasts.
